Pleasanton Computer saved me the price of a new computer which I greatly appreciated. They installed a new processor which made my computer better than it ever has and their service was fast and friendly. They are a go to computer shop.
I had a dead laptop, and Pleasanton Computer Repair's proximity and his reviews helped me choose them for help. The quotes up front were simple, and they were pleasant and professional to deal with. For Covid safety, they require appointments to ensure one customer at a time. The one drawback was that they could not identify the problem with the tools available there and would need to send it to a lab in San Jose at additional cost. The tech was able to assure me the hard drive was not damaged, however, so I was able to transfer files myself by moving the drive to a case and connecting it as an external drive.
Took an older iPad here for a screen replacement. Previously I had taken this same iPad to another place but the screen they used was not as responsive as the original. With Pleasanton computer repair there is no issue with the screen, it is as good as new! I will definitely come back here for any repairs I need.
I needed to replace my husbands MacBook screen. I yelped this place and they had the best price quote and was really efficient with time! I got the laptop back in just an hour! I also payed below what the quoted me. Definitely recommended!
My only regret is not going to them sooner. I contacted them first when I was having laptop fan problems but then my dad's friend said he would work on it... I took him two weeks and he still never got it to work and also made it much worse than it already was.
Pleasanton Computer Repair took only about a week and they were very communicative on updates which I greatly appreciated. The prices were very reasonable and they got my computer up and running in an adequate amount of time also.
Took a chance on this business to assess a non-responsive keyboard problem. I was considering chucking my laptop but wanted to see if it was worth saving. I don't know if these guys have "magic IT dust", but they were quick to let me know they couldn't replicate the problem. Two techs took a shot at it and both reported there were no issues. I like their online ticketing system as that was our primary mode of communication. But what impressed me is that they didn't try to bilk me out of more money than necessary and just charged the diagnostic fee. They even assured me nothing was wrong and if I found otherwise, they invited me to come back and have another go at it. Very professional, timely, and no complaints.
